Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks who use a wide range of cookery skills. They use discretion and judgement and have a sound knowledge of kitchen operations. They work with some independence and under limited supervision and may provide operational advice and support to team members. This qualification provides a pathway to work as a commercial cook in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes, cafeterias and coffee shops.

 

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent .
  • IELTS Test Score of 5.5.
  • PTE academic score of 42.
  • Be 18 years of age or over.

Combining his passion for cooking and love of teaching and sharing his skills with others, he decided to open JP International College in 2007 with the view of empowering students for international careers.
