This qualification reflects the role of commercial cooks who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems. Entry Requirements

He trained at the prestigious Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in Austria and then spent the next 10 years in Europe honing his skills both as a Chef and Operations Manager. He then moved to Canberra and opened a highly successful, award winning restaurant which he ran for 25 years. Combining his passion for cooking and love of teaching and sharing his skills with others, he decided to open JP International College in 2007 with the view of empowering students for international careers.
At JPIC, the combination of quality academic teaching, practical training within a personalized and supportive environment is our recipe for success. The individual approach we take with our students gives them the best chance of securing their dream role on graduation! We have graduates working in 5 star restaurants in Canberra whilst others are branching out to open their own restaurants in their home countries, Canberra and further afield in Australia.
